I have determined the direction that I intend to take with this blog. And that will be one of exploration, discovery and renewal. Sound lame enough for you? Well if not then keep on reading.

Lets start out with some of the facts.

1. I’m young, and I’m just starting out!

I am now the age of 22 and I have yet to really experience much of what this world and the people of it have to offer. I just recently (okay its been over a year now) began that which is typically considered the working week.

2. I can learn from the experiences of others!

I don’t know how many out there have seen or heard about the annoying newcomer who professed knowledge in everything and hey I’m not going to say that I’ve never portrayed that sort of attitude but I’ll be one of the first to hear another’s point of view and consider it. Its one of my primary goals to soak up from those around me the experiences they’ve had and the trials they’ve overcome.

3. I’m never going to be through learning

It fits hand in glove with number 2 that I will never be too old or too knowledgeable about a subject to not accept another persons viewpoint on a matter. I can hold any degree at any level in any subject and there will always be something new and exciting.

4. I can pass along knowledge as well

I’ve come upon a few situations in my experiences where the individuals I were discussing a topic with were very engrossed in what was being discussed. They have on occasion been so ingrained into a certain process that they couldn’t see the other possibilities. Have you ever come across a situation where you’ve been working on something for so long and a person with a fresh perspective came along and solved in mere moments that which you’d been spending hours pouring over? Its like that, and I hope to lend fresh perspectives when I see the opportunity arise… Don’t worry I’m not too pushy.

Now that may seem like ideas that are quite rudimentary and well common sense, but these are some core values that I intend to hold at the center of my journey that I feel has really yet to begin.
